Carmen Katzenberger
We are pleased to announce the first recipient of Allie’s Scholarship is Carmen Katzenberger.
Carmen is an exceptional senior at Harlowton High School, graduating in May 2026 with a perfect 4.0 GPA and a record of sustained academic excellence, leadership, and service. She plans to attend Washington State University to study Criminal Justice/Criminology, driven by a deep passion for advocacy and justice.
Her accomplishments span state and national recognition in speech and debate, business leadership, and civic engagement, including participation in Montana Girls State and Girls Nation, where she was appointed Secretary of Veterans Affairs.
Beyond accolades, she has demonstrated extraordinary commitment to her community, contributing over 200 hours of verified service. She founded and organized a successful fundraiser for the Montana Hope Project, raised nearly $3,000 in one day, and continues to serve seniors, veterans, youth, and families through organizations such as FCCLA, NHS, Key Club, and the American Legion.
Raised by a single mother, she learned early the value of resilience, gratitude, and giving back. Those lessons now guide her ambition to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves. Her integrity, compassion, leadership, and dedication to service embody the mission and spirit of Allie’s Legacy Foundation, making her a truly deserving scholarship recipient.
